10 Keys to a Sustainable Natural Weight Loss Program

  1. There are many ways to lose weight and of course, some are better than others! The much more difficult thing is keeping it off i.e. sustainability.
  2. Avoid weight loss drugs and meal replacement regimes. They may help you lose weight, but once you stop them, chances are the weight will be regained. You achieve nothing but frustration.
  3. Try and eat real foods that are as fresh, natural and clean as possible (i.e. organic, free of hormones and additives). Hormones and additives upset the hypothalamus that controls the appetite.
  4. Drink lots of clean water (RO and /or alkalinized).
  5. The key to appetite control is to keep the blood sugar stable. Many people’s blood sugar is so unstable that we often need to use natural blood sugar stabilizing hormones to jump start the weight loss process.
  6. Avoid glycemic foods like wheat, sugar, potatoes etc. Try and eat protein-rich foods each meal. If needed, use protein powders as an adjunct. Alcohol in the form of vodka and soda and/or red wine (1-2 per day) are permissible.

  9. Find a qualified and experienced nutritionally oriented physician who can evaluate your status and coach you properly. If you’re serious about losing weight, choose your coach carefully. Very few so called “experts” truly understand weight loss physiology and misconceptions (along with poorly conceived strategies) are all too common.
  10. Don’t get discouraged. Once you understand and apply the correct principles it’s much easier to achieve and maintain the figure (or physique) you want (and also be much healthier and happier!).
